RideSET was established in 2016, with full operations commencing in 2017 — just one year prior to Minnesota hosting the Super Bowl. The company was intentionally developed to meet the demands of high-volume, time-sensitive transportation environments requiring reliability, advance planning, and strict service standards. From the very beginning, RideSET was built differently.

As a centrally operated company based in South Minneapolis, RideSET has endured extraordinary adversity. From the unrest following George Floyd, to ICE raids, community trauma, and ongoing violence in the area, the company has remained rooted in the very community many chose to leave. As a minority-owned business, our founder experienced these challenges firsthand — not from a distance, but alongside the neighbors, families, and small businesses who were directly impacted. Through those hardships, the mission never changed. If anything, it became stronger.

 

RideSET has deep ties to the inner-city community — including long-standing involvement with Minneapolis' very own Circle of Discipline — reflecting leadership philosophy grounded in mentorship, accountability, and service. RideSET was not built simply to provide transportation; it was built to model professionalism, stability, and opportunity in an environment that has faced immense instability.
